Christ and the Zodiac At the time of Christ's birth, the sun was beginning to transit into the house of Pisces at the Vernal Equinox. This is why Jesus' birth was sometimes placed at the Spring Equinox: for Jesus to have been born at the Winter Solstice (December 25th), he would have been conceived ("crossed into flesh": "crucified") in Heaven at the Vernal (Spring) Equinox, nine months before the Winter Solstice. Jesus' conception and birth typify the new sun of the new year in the new age. The timing of his conception at dawn on the first Spring Equinox of the Age of Pisces (heralding the dawning of the new age), and his birth at Midnight on the first Winter Solstice of the Age of Pisces attest to the fact that he was the fulfillment of messianic prophecy, and likewise coincides with both the solar calendar that begins the new year on the Winter Solstice, and the celestial calendar that begins at the celestial year at the Spring Equinox.
