The Four Ages, Daniel and the 'Four' Horsemen of Revelation There are four ages of note that occur in ancient scriptures found worldwide from Asia to Meso-America. These are the Iron or Clay Age, the Bronze Age, the Silver Age, and the Gold Age. In Hindu these are the same, except the Iron Age is referred to as the Dark Age. Daniel writes of a rider with feet of clay mixed with iron, of legs made of iron, of a belly and thighs of bronze, a chest of silver and a head of gold. These are the trophies that the 'four' horsemen have gathered together by its transit through the four 'seasons' (fixed houses) of the zodiac: the 'four' horse'men' are in fact four aspects of one horse-man.
