Who was Joseph the Impending Husband of Mary?Josephus - the turncoat Flavian creator of the Roman Christ myth. Naming Mary's husband Joseph. Who raised Mary? The New testament credits Zechariah with raising Mary, but stops far-short of admitting that there was a lot more significance to such. Undoubtedly Zechariah would have taught Mary Judaism, and undoubtedly Mary would have accompanied Zechariah during his time at the Temple - especially during Elizabeth's sixth month of pregnancy - especially if Zechariah were unable to speak. Mary would have been more than simply a goddaughter to Zechariah - she would have been his concubine. Keep in mind that according to the New Testament, Mary was still very young when she conceived - and that Elizabeth was very old. Obviously it would have been the contention roughly some fourteen years earlier, and with tradition of those days, that when even at that earlier time Elizabeth was aged and her barrenness was apparent, that Mary was to give Zechariah a son to carry on his lineage as well as the priesthood. That said, when the veil of confusion that Catholicism imposes is removed, one can see that Mary was not simply trusted into the care of Zechariah, but that she was in reality his wife Elizabeth. The "barren lady" whom conceived during the barren fall in the House of Virgo during the withering Age of Aries, was one and the same as the "virgin beloved" whom conceived during the born again, fertile spring in the waxing Age of Pisces. Jesus and John were two aspects of the same entity, just as Elizabeth and Mary were two aspects of one entity.
