Scenario 3: Jesus, the Christ Whom Never Was
Jesus never existed. He was a Roman fraud invented with the intent of liquidating Jewish messianic tradition in order to usurp Judaism into Christianity so that Rome could control the rebellious Jews as well as Pagans within the Roman spheres of interest.
- The two times when Christianity took hold in the Roman empire - the first and fourth centuries, coincided with Rome itself being under severe duress due to outside threats.
- Josephus was a Jewish traitor and a pro-Flavian propagandist. Much of the supposed first century ''history'' written by him is suspect at best. The Flavians were expert propagandists, and all ''historical'' writings of the first century were controlled by them. Several Flavians are listed as being among the first ''Christian martyrs''. Obviously the Flavians had a hand in the writing of the Gospels.
- The writings by Josephus regarding the Flavian exploits in the Levant shockingly coincide with the exploits afforded to Jesus in the Gospels.
